Tamara Trading is the official distributor of Segway scooters in Saudi Arabia. We are committed to providing quality products and support to our customers. Please read our warranty policy carefully to understand the terms and conditions.
Warranty Coverage
Warranty Period:
- The standard warranty for Segway scooters covers one year from the date of purchase for manufacturing defects.
- The warranty for batteries is three (3) months from the date of purchase, provided there is no physical damage, water damage, damage due to natural occurrences, or accidents.
Non-Covered Components (Wear and Tear Items):
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, including but not limited to:
- Tyres and inner tubes
- Hand grips
- Foot mats
- Brake pads
- Chargers
- Kickstands
- Cosmetic damages such as scratches or dents
- Any modifications or unauthorized repairs
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty will be void in the following cases:
- Any physical damage caused by accidents, improper use, or dropping the scooter.
- Water damage from riding in wet conditions beyond the product’s IP rating.
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications by third parties.
- Improper storage or maintenance, such as exposure to extreme temperatures or failure to follow the user manual’s guidelines.
- Overloading the scooter beyond the recommended weight capacity.
Shipping & Service Costs
- Customers must bear the cost of shipping the product for any warranty claims.
- If you need assistance with shipping, we can provide this service at an additional charge.
- Any diagnostic or service fees for non-warranty repairs will be communicated before proceeding.
How to Claim Your Warranty
- Proof of Purchase: The original invoice or receipt is required for all warranty claims.
- Contact Support: Reach out to our customer service team with a detailed description of the issue, along with photos or videos if possible.
- Inspection & Approval: Our technicians will inspect the scooter to determine if the issue falls under warranty coverage.
- Repair or Replacement: If approved, we will repair or replace the defective part as per warranty terms.
Additional Recommendations
To ensure longevity and proper performance of your Segway scooter:
- Regularly check and maintain tyre pressure and battery health.
- Avoid riding in extreme weather conditions (heavy rain, sandstorms, etc.).
- Store the scooter in a dry and cool place, away from direct sunlight or moisture.
- Follow the manufacturer’s guidelines for charging and battery maintenance.
